Two Meeting Street Inn

Two Meeting Street Inn was such a special treat! All the staff were so kind, attentive, accommodating and blessed us with their Southern hospitality! The surroundings were beautiful! Everything we experienced during our stay from the check-in process, our room, the food and the rich history of this bed and breakfast was nothing short of magnificent. Perfect location in regards to experiencing the heart of Charleston and all that this beautiful city has to offer.

We spent three unforgettable nights celebrating my wife`s 77th birthday. This was our second visit in five years and we thoroughly enjoyed everything from booking to departure. This property is truly a "place apart" in every way... (1) the setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by massive oak trees and right on the battery; (2) the Southern hospitality and personal attention is simply outstanding; (3) the gourmet breakfasts are equal to and even better than the dinners we had in three of Charleston`s top 10 restaurants; (4) the period decorated rooms are charming especially the Williams room with a private deck overlooking the gardens: and, (5) the location is perfect for walking in and around the old town. If you want an experience that is absolutely PERFECT in every way then stay at 2 Meeting Place !We are already planning our next visit.

We stayed three nights for our anniversary. If you can splurge for one of the premier rooms on the second floor with the porch, do it! We really enjoyed sitting out there watching the tourists, carriage rides and rain one evening. Afternoon tea was great and we had fun chatting with the other guests. The house and grounds were beautiful. The staff was amazing. Highly recommended!

A year ago today, my husband and I arrived at this beautiful inn to enjoy a much needed vacation during his battle with cancer. From the moment we set foot on the property, we loved it. The food was excellent and the service even more so. Our room was beautiful! Every evening, he would want to hurry back from our outings for afternoon tea...and he didn't even like tea. He fought bravely, but lost his battle this February. I have been going through my pictures today of our time at The Inn at Two Meeting Street. I am so grateful for the wonderful trip...it was the only time we ever stayed at a bed and breakfast during 29 years of marriage. I have beautiful memories that I will always treasure.

One of the nicest Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed at. Excellent personalized staff, awesome breakfast, great location and makes you feel like you are staying at your Wealthy Grandmother's house. We will certainly be back. The beds are kind of high off the ground so be careful getting in and out of them.

This is truly the most beautiful home in Charleston. We have stayed every year for 24 years for my husband‘s birthday and the service has always been impeccable, the food delicious, the room and grounds are stunning and it’s in the best location in Charleston. We adore it. Can’t wait till it reopens!

We have always wanted to stay at this exquisite inn and recently had a chance to do so. Our stay was magnificent, charming and our experience was beyond our expectations. The house and gardens are amazing and meticulously maintained. The hospitality of the staff and owner were absolutely stellar! They make sure that you are well taken care of and we loved the history and stories they tell about the inn and it's owners. They make you feel at home. Their porch was amazing with the views of the battery, garden, fresh flowers & plants everywhere and resident night herons sitting on a nest for entertainment. You can feel your stress melt away when you are there. We will definitely be back and highly recommend a stay here!

Enjoyed our honeymoon here! Was the absolute perfect place to stay to have a true Charleston experience. The rooms were perfect, breakfast was outstanding and the staff truly exuded southern hospitality. Make sure you have a glass of their ice cold sweet tea on the porch after a day of sightseeing!
